MEGAN RANDALL

Meg Randall (born 2000, Houston, TX) is a Texas-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, stained glass, printmaking, and photography. Her practice explores narrative through mixed media and installation, often incorporating references to pop culture to construct psychologically charged scenes that reflect emotional, physical, and social experience. Through the manipulation and subversion of the male gaze, Randall builds layered visual stories that examine power, gender, and historical memory.

Randall received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a Minor in Studio Art from the University of Houston in 2024. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Texas, including a recent group exhibition, Unboxed: Beyond The Binary, curated by The Block Foundation. Her work draws from personal experience, historical archetypes, and contemporary social discourse, including dialogues surrounding the reversal of Roe v. Wade, the resurgence of traditional sociocultural values, and the influence of online subcultures and social media. Her practice is informed by themes of women’s rights, medical inequality, representation, and the lasting impact of misogynistic cultural narratives. Randall lives and works in Texas.
